Be a Kid Again!

A blast from the past do you remember skipping rope?  Head out to your favorite store and pick up a jump rope - nothing fancy.  In the privacy of your own backyard play with it and remember do not try to be perfect right off the bat.

Ten minutes of skipping rope with both feet together at a moderate pace burns about 100 calories.

You can jump rope with both feet together, Side to side, split step hop on 1 foot and then the other.  

Interval training like skipping rope is a great workout for your body. Interval training is a combination of high intensity intervals followed immediately by a slow (rest) period, then repeated. The results from this workout are an increase in cardiovascular fitness and ‘fat loss’ from a boosted metabolism.

Try 1 on 1 off for 20-30 minutes.   Just play and have fun and you will be amazed at the fun you will have and the calories you will burn.
